Author Profiles James Lingwood has been Co-Director of Artangel since 1991, and is well known as an independent curator and writer. Over recent years he has curated major exhibitions with, among others, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Vija Celmins, Douglas Gordon, Juan Mañoz, Julião Sarmento, Thomas Schütte and Robert Smithson. Michael Morris has been Co-Director of Artangel since 1991. He has also run his own production company, Cultural Industry, since 1998, and collaborates with a range of theatre artists, including Robert Wilson, Robert Lepage, Laurie Anderson and Pina Bausch. Cultural Industry’s celebrated ‘junk opera’ Shockheaded Peter has toured internationally since 1998. | ||
