Author Profiles

David Abbott began his career as a copywriter at DDB and later went on to found AMV BBDO, which is regarded as one of the most creative agencies in the world. In 2001 he was inducted into the highly prestigious US Creative Hall of Fame.

Alfredo Marcantonio is a writer and creative director who has been involved in the development of some of Britain’s most successful advertising campaigns, including those for Heineken and BMW. He is the author of several books about advertising.

John O'Driscoll joined DDB as an art director in 1967 where, together with his writer Dave Brown, he created several of the British Volkswagen ads that appear in this book.
